Ohh yes, it’s finally here. Well, I guess I’m pushing it a little bit considering it’s only chilly 2 out of 7 times a week. But in my head, (pre) fall is here. Fall is my favourite time of the year to dress for. I get to wear layers again, sweaters, pants, and scarves. What’s not to love? However, considering it’s still pre fall it’s not quite cold enough for most of those things yet. So in this post, I managed to style a look that wasn’t too warm for the weather but still satisfied my need for fall trends.
So I paired a grey thin, long sleeve shirt under my most, and absolute favourite piece of clothing I have right now. I did the plain top to make this outfit casual enough to go shopping but also so I didn’t sweat to death. However, I plan to wear my jumpsuit with many more blouses and detailed sweaters in the upcoming cooler months (oh please let them come faster). This jumpsuit is so versatile and you can create so many different looks with it; casual or dressed up.
To accessorize this simple look, I added a solid colour cross body bag. I wanted to keep the theme of colour blocking I had with my outfit so that’s why I chose a relatively plain bag. I happened to have a silk scarf in the same colour so I tied it to the strap to add an extra touch. As much as I love my stan smiths, I thought this outfit needed a more elaborate shoe to really bring it together. I tossed on my favourite loafers which have both fringe and zipper detailing to add that extra bit of POP this outfit needed.
